Squid Game has at last unveiled the star-studded cast for its much-anticipated second season. The lineup includes an array of prominent Korean film industry actors who will join Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, and Gong Yoo. Here’s the full cast list for ‘Squid Game’ season 2.
Big Names in Korean Entertainment Join the Squid Game 2 Cast Lineup
It had been reported earlier that idol-actor Im Siwan was in talks to join the second installment of Squid Game. Now, it’s time to reveal the final casting decision.
On June 18, the popular Netflix series released its first teaser featuring the new cast. Alongside returning season one cast members Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, and Gong Yoo, ‘Squid Game’ season 2 introduced acclaimed actors like Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, and Yang Dong Geun.

Squid Game season 2 is set to begin production in July 2023 with an impressive budget of over 100 billion KRW (approximately 78.6 million USD). The much-awaited second season is predicted to premiere in the latter half of 2024.
