Brilliant, underrated actors Lee Ji Hoon and Jung In Sun will soon reunite in a New Korean drama, “Grand Shining Hotel.”
On September 22, Korean media outlet OSEN exclusively reported that Jung In Sun had been cast as the female lead character for a new Korean drama, “Grand Shining Hotel”. The same Korean drama also cast actor Lee Ji Hoon as the male lead character. Therefore, it is highly likely that the two actors will form a mesmerizing synergy as a couple in the new drama.
Actors Lee Ji Hoon and Jung In Sun have been rising in the Korean drama industry for years. Lee Ji Hoon is famous for showing his versatile acting in “Sponsor” and “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung”. Meanwhile, Jung In Sun has been recognized for her duality acting in comedy and romance dramas, including “Welcome to Waikiki” and “Let Me Be Your Knight” with Lee Jun Young.
Recently signed with P&B Entertainment, “Grand Shining Hotel” is the second upcoming project for Lee Ji Hoon. The rising actor has confirmed to star in a new project with Lee Jun Young, Lee Jae Wook, and Hong Su Zu, “Royal Loader”.
If Jung In Sun confirms her appearance, the drama will signify her return to the small screen after a two-year hiatus.
The two actors previously starred in a 2016 Korean drama, “Mirror of the Witch”. However, even though they were in the drama together, there were few scenes in which the two actors encountered each other.

“Grand Shining Hotel” is a collaboration project between writer Park Se Hyung and director Myung Hyun Woo. It is also a fantasy drama by the South Korean giant production house Studio Dragon.
The main storyline of “Grand Shining Hotel” will mostly revolve around the main character, who suddenly gets drawn into a fictional world through a horror novel.
Actor Lee Ji Hoon will take on the role of the man who enters the novel’s fictional world. At the same time, actress Jung In Sun will portray the woman who gets entangled with the man.
As of today, reports stated that “Grand Shining Hotel” has begun its filming process. As such, a possible release date will be announced in due time.
