The Glittering Night: Winners of the 32nd Buil Film Awards (BFA) 2023 Revealed
On October 5, the 32nd edition of the Buil Film Awards in 2023 announced its winners. The Buil Film Awards, organized by the renowned Busan-based daily ‘Busan Ilbo,’ aimed to recognize and honor excellence in cinematic achievements. The ceremony awarded 16 categories, recognizing exceptional contributions by Korean films from August 11, 2023 – August 10, 2023.
The Korean cinema awards event took place at the elegant Signiel Busan Grand Ballroom in Haeundae-gu, Busan, with actress Esom as the solo host. It was attended by luminaries from the Korean cinema industry.
Celebrities such as Lee Byung Hyun, Kim Seon Ho, Doh Kyung Soo, and Park Bo Young added glamour to the event. Their presence on the red carpet enhanced the overall atmosphere at the event.
To expand the event’s reach and engagement, MBC and Naver T live-streamed the ceremony. Fans and film enthusiasts in the world eagerly tuned in to witness the unveiling of the winners. The event created an even greater sense of anticipation and celebration of Korean cinema.
