A few days ago, a leaked video emerged on the internet, showing a LIVE broadcast between RIIZE Seunghan and TXT Soobin. While the video had caused a stir with various mistranslated versions, the content remains a controversy, especially when it involves RIIZE Seunghan.
Allegedly Mocking TXT Soobin while Involving LE SSERAFIM Eunchae
The initial controversy emerging on social media stated that RIIZE Seunghan had been mocking LE SSERAFIM’s maknae, Hong Eunchae. However, after the detailed translation circulated on social media, more controversy emerged as RIIZE Seunghan apparently mocked TXT Soobin while involving LE SSERAFIM Eunchae.
The original livestream video appeared on November 16 during Instagram LIVE. RIIZE Seunghan and TXT Soobin held this Instagram LIVE that only featured 4 viewers through their alleged personal accounts.
Unexpectedly, someone recorded the livestream and posted the video on social media. The recording revealed a particular conversation where RIIZE Seunghan was jokingly mocking TXT Soobin while mentioning LE SSERAFIM Eunchae.
RIIZE Seunghan : “But it’s a fact, right? You can’t even dance, sing, or rap. You were just all excited because you MC-ed for Music Bank. And you even got to meet our Eunchae!”
TXT Soobin : “Let me show you something…” (turning the camera to make a gesture with his foot)
Uri Eunchae: “Our Eunchae”
While the translation clearly described RIIZE Seunghan mocking TXT Soobin, Korean netizens’ focus was on how he referred to LE SSERAFIM Eunchae as “our” Eunchae.
In South Korea, people usually use the term “uri”—meaning “our”—for people who are closest to them. Parents, siblings, family members, and those who are in close and romantic relationships may refer to the person involved as “uri” (our). For example: “our parents” means my parents. However, they must not use this term to refer to friends or simply casual acquaintances.
Therefore, while saying “our Eunchae”, RIIZE Seunghan implied he has a close relationship with LE SSERAFIM Eunchae. And this upsets many Korean netizens.

On November 17, RIIZE Seunghan was under massive criticism after leaked photos and video of him smoking circulated on social media. Not only that, but the photos and video revealed that RIIZE Seunghan was smoking on the street. And this caused more backlash against him.

Because of the repeated scandal and controversy, fans are torn between defending and criticizing Seunghan.
After all, Seunghan had also faced massive controversy involving his girlfriend before. Then, more rumors revealed about the alleged bad personality of RIIZE Seunghan after a leaked screenshot of his chat.

Fans Demand SM Entertainment Remove Him from The Group
As a result, fans demand SM Entertainment to take action and remove Seunghan from RIIZE due to the repeated controversy.
