1. Who is Ciipher?

Ciipher (싸이퍼) is a 7-piece rookie Kpop boy group under RAIN Company. The boy group debuted on March 15, 2021, with 안꿀려 (I Like You).

2. Who are Ciipher members?

Hyunbin

Born February 26, 2020, Moon Hyunbin is trusted to be the Ciipher leader. Before debuting with the group, Hyunbin was a contestant in Produce X 101 and was eliminated in episode 8. Hyunbin is currently a student at Joy Dance.

Tan

The oldest member of Ciipher was born on August 25, 1996 with real name Choi Seok Won. Before debuting with the group, Tan was a trainee in a survival show No.Mercy in 2015. He was supposed to debut with MONSTA X. Another fact is that Tan has completed his military service.

Hwi

The second oldest member of Ciipher is Hwi, who was born on February 4, 1999. His real name is Kim Byeong Geun.

Dohwan

The next Ciipher member is Gil Dohwan. He was born on August 23, 2003. Dohwan was also one of the contestants on the YG Treasure Box survival show and was eliminated on the second to last episode (episode #9). This left-handed boy is currently a student at Def Dance. Dohwan is also good at playing Haegeum, a Korean string instrument.

Tag

According to Rain’s Instagram post, the name Tag was chosen because he comes from Thailand. In Korea, Thailand is also called taegug. Tag is a Korean but raised in Thailand, and he was born on September 30, 2002. Kpop fans notice that Tag and Prince from Ghost9 are best friends as they were both trainees from On Air Academy Thailand.

Keita

The only Ciipher member from Japan, Terazono Keita, was also a trainee of YG Treasure Box. He was born in Osaka, July 4, 2001. Keita was initially the first trainee under YG and been in training for more than 5 years. From the debut, we can see that Keita is not only good at singing but also rapping.

Won

Before debuting with Ciipher, a gorgeous boy whose real name is Park Sung Won was a contestant of Under Nineteen and made it to seventh place and debuted with 1THE9. Won is the Ciipher maknae, who was born on December 18, 2003.

In their introductory video, they introduce their own nicknames, like Tan – the oldest member, Hyunbin – prince snow white, Dohwan – most touching voice, Keita – all-rounder, Hwi – life of the party, TAG – Jack-of-all-trades, Won – maknae/youngest member.
