On March 6, multiple Korean news outlets reported that esteemed actress Han So Hee of “My Name” and actor Ryu Jun Yeol of “Alienoid” will take on leading roles in director Han Jae Rim’s adaptation of the captivating Webtoon, “Delusion.”

“It is one of the works that have been proposed and is under review.”

Meanwhile, Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency, C-JeS Studios, confirmed the news, saying,
“He received an offer for the drama [“Delusion”] and is reviewing it.”

The project “Delusion” is based on a webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga, serialized on Naver in 2019.
The story is set in 1935 and revolves around a struggling artist named Yun Iho. He receives a commission from a mysterious and reclusive woman, Madam Song Jeong Hwa, to paint her portrait. However, he soon discovers that Madam Song is a vampire who appears young despite her age. To his horror, Iho learns that no artist who has ever painted Madam Song has left her mansion alive or sane. This chilling tale of art, mystery, and the supernatural in “Delusion” weaves historical fiction with eerie suspense, engaging readers in a captivating narrative.
