The prominent rapper-dancer and maknae of BLACKPINK, Lisa, will soon release a solo album and activities with a new US company.
On April 11, Korean media reported an announcement from Sony Music Entertainment Korea that Lisa and her solo agency, LLOUD, had signed a new agreement with RCA Records company under Sony Music US for her global activities.
Further in the report, Lisa also revealed that she had been preparing for her new solo album. This will become Lisa’s second solo album after her previous debut, “Lalisa,” in September 2021. Her previous “Lalisa” solo album made an exceptional record of 800,000 copies. It was one of the best-selling debut albums by female soloists in Hanteo history.
“I’m excited to become a part of the RCA family! I truly believe they’re the perfect team to help me make a bigger move in my solo career. I’m looking forward to sharing with everyone the amazing things we’ve been working on together.”
