The new tvN variety show is helmed by Director Kim Se Hee. She is known for her work on “Youn’s Stay“ alongside renowned Director Na Young Suk. With her expertise in capturing the essence of travel and various cultures, the show promises to deliver a delightful experience to the audience.
Premiere Episode of “Fresh off the Sea”
In the premiere episode that aired on July 18, the four siblings—Yum Jung Ah, Park Joon Myun, Ahn Eun Jin, and Dex—cast members of “Fresh off the Sea” (formerly known as “Sister’s Direct Delivery“) gathered for the first time to embark on a trip to Namhae.
While savoring Namhae’s fresh delicacies at breakfast, they received clues about the ingredients they would deliver during their stay in Namhae: anchovy, red potato, and Yuja.
Furthermore, the production team surprised them with an unexpected anchovy delivery assignment. Their current location, Mijo Port, is one of the country’s leading anchovy producers.
Yum Jung Ah appeared confused, questioning, “Right now? Without returning home?” She hesitated to accept the work clothes, expressing disappointment, “I dressed up so nicely to come here.”
However, once on-site, they threw themselves into various tasks such as picking anchovies, cleaning, sorting, and packaging. Skilled actresses Yum Jung Ah and Park Joon Myun adeptly carried out the tasks, garnering attention. On the other hand, Ahn Eun Jin initially felt puzzled by the unfamiliar anchovies, commenting, “Feels weird,” but soon adapted and continued with the work.
