Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In relationship has been confirmed by both Lee Da In’s agency and the actor himself. On May 26, his newly-formed agency, Human Made, released an official statement saying that Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In are in the process of “getting to know each other”.

After his official statements hit the news and made headlines, Lee Seung Gi and Lee da In fans are busy congratulating the couple and Lee Seung Gi’s new agency. Members of Airen, the official Lee Seung Gi fandom all congratulated the couple. Or so we all thought.

A Fan Protesting Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In Relationship: Sending a Protest Truck with Extra-Large Display

The media reported on May 29 that a Korean fan had rented a truck to protest on Lee Seung Gi and Le Da In relationship using the truck’s extra large display. The truck displayed Lee Seung Gi’s fan huge concern, saying “[Lee Da In’s family] had created too many victims.”

This rented truck was circling around the town, with is LED display flashing various messages to voice the fan’s resentment towards Lee Da In:

“It’s okay if you didn’t know, we’ll inform you now. They have created too many victims.”

“Are you willing to destroy your 17-year-old career? A quick decision must be made.”

“We have protected you for the past 17 years. It is now your turn to protect Airens (Lee Seung Gi’s fandom).”

Fan Sending Protest Truck Due to Lee Da In Family Scandal

The reason why the fan hugely protested Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In relationship was because of Lee Da In family history of criminal record in 2016.

Lee Da In was born in a well-known family. Lee Da In parents are South Korean’s veteran actress, Kyeon Mi Ri and stepfather Lee Hong Heon. Her older sister is also a well-known Korean actress, Lee Yoo Bi (Pinocchio, Scholar who Walks the Night). While the family seems like another regular family of artists, the problem lies on the stepfather, Lee Hong Heon.

Lee Da In Parents Controversy

In 2009 and 2018, Lee Da In’s father Lee Hong Heon was charged and arrested for manipulating the stock prices for KOSDAQ.

Reports mentioned that the man used his wife’s name and status to recruit investors. He then manipulated the stock prices by upping the company’s shares cost. This action then resulted in massive revenues for Lee Heong Hoon and his investors. After Lee Heong Hoon and his investors reaped their profits, they sold all their company shares, causing a financial disaster for the rest of the company’s stockholders.

An anonymous source also surfaced following the report. The source states that their relatives and thousands of people had to suffer an irreplaceable loss due to the stock manipulation. Even though the relative’s investment was voluntary, but the stock manipulation caused them to go into bankruptcy.

The worst thing was, according to the online post, Lee Heong Hoon and Kyeon Mi Ri made no apology to the “victims”. Instead, both Lee Da In parents were reported to have “made themselves the victims and went on to file lawsuits against the actual victims.”
