SM Entertainment’s popular girl group, aespa, has made history as the first Kpop girl group to win the Grand Prize (Daesang) at 2024 the Fact Music Awards, after BTS (2018-2022) and SEVENTEEN (2023).
Moreover, rookie female group NewJeans and beloved trot singer Lim Young Woong took home the most awards, each winning four. Lim Young won the Angel N Star Award, Best Music (Summer), Best Music (Winter), and Fan N Star Choice Award (Solo). Meanwhile, NewJeans claimed multiple awards, such as Artist of the Year (Bonsang), the MUSINSA Popularity Award, the Worldwide Icon Award, and the World Best Performer.
