January 2025 TOP 100 Kpop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings

On January 19, the Korean Business Research Institute announced that Rosé of BLACKPINK topped the list of January’s most popular female Kpop idols. Explore the top 100 brand reputation rankings for individual Kpop girl group members for January 2025 and discover your favorite member!

January 2025 Individual Kpop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 119,020,915 brand data from 712 girl group members between December 19, 2024, and January 19, 2025. Compared to the 137,781,489 pieces of individual brand data from December 2024, it fell by 13.62 percent 

Furthermore, they used the latest brand data in their consumer behavior analysis. This analysis measured participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement of each female Kpop idol to determine the brand value of individual Kpop girl group members and the brand reputation rankings for January 2025.

According to the results, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, aespa’s Karina, IVE’s Jang Won-young, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie maintained their positions in January’s rankings, with ITZY’s Yuna completing the top five most popular Kpop girl group members for January 2025.

Rosé of BLACKPINK maintained her position at number one in January’s top individual Kpop girl group member rankings. The singer, whose hit single “APT” became the fastest Kpop music video in YouTube history to reach 900 million views, achieved a brand value of 11,082,958 in January. Despite holding the same position for two consecutive months, Rosé’s brand value experienced a decrease of 3.96 percent from 19,776,640 in December 2024. Here’s the following breakdown of her latest brand value:

• Participation Index: 2,761,847
• Media Index: 2,399,988
• Communication Index: 2,774,348
• Community Index: 3,146,774

Furthermore, in the link analysis, the institute found that ‘reverse,’ ‘record,’ and ‘surge’ emerged as Rosé’s most related terms. At the same time, the institute also found that ‘APT,’ ‘Billboard,’ and ‘single chart’ were the most popular keywords. In the positive-negative analysis, Rosé

gained a positive score of 92.83 percent.

2. aespa Karina

Karina of aespa, recognized for her multiple talents and exceptional visuals, remained in second place in January’s top individual Kpop girl group member brand reputation rankings. Unfortunately, her brand value dropped by 20.34 percent, declining from 7,861,406 in December to 6,262,500 in January. Here is the breakdown:

• Media Index: 1,936,556
• Communication Index: 1,072,909
• Community Index: 1,134,993

3. IVE Jang Won Young

Jang Won Young of IVE, who recently revealed her ‘wolf-like’ ideal boyfriend type and MBTI (ENFJ) in Dex’s Fridge Interview, stayed in third place. Her brand value fell by 10.47 percent, decreasing from 6,777,295 in December to 6,067,563 in January, with the following breakdown:
