ATEEZ Mingi is back after almost 8 months hiatus
Mingi took hiatus due to a health issue
In November 2020, Mingi was diagnosed with experiencing psychological anxiety. The doctors told him to get plenty of rest and stability. Therefore, Mingi decided to take a hiatus from ATEEZ activities and focus on his treatment and recovering his health.
ATINY has been waiting for Mingi to comeback
Previously, ATINY hoped to see Mingi’s first performance after his hiatus ‘The Real,’ in the finale of ‘Kingdom: Legendary War.’ However, KQ Entertainment made sure that Mingi wouldn’t join ATEEZ for the performance.
ATEEZ Mingi posted on Twitter for the first time
At last, on July 10, Mingi surprised ATINY with his sudden post on Twitter for the first time after his long hiatus.
Mingi wished his bandmate San a happy birthday by posting two photos of San and a photo of a mountain (the word ‘San’ literally means ‘mountain’ in Korean). The post thrilled ATINY as it might be a sign of Mingi’s comeback.

ATEEZ San birthday and COVID-19
Meanwhile, ATEEZ San celebrated his birthday on quarantine as he was tested positive for COVID-19. San has reassured ATINY by writing a heartwarming letter updating his condition.
