The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 60,055,822 pieces of brand big data from 20 popular K-dramas between November 9 and December 9, 2025. This represents a 4.71% increase compared to November’s drama brand big data of 57,356,905 pieces.
TOP 5 Korean Dramas
1. “Typhoon Family”
“Typhoon Family” continued to lead the Korean drama rankings in December 2025, with a brand reputation index of 7,172,545. The series started with a 5.9% viewership at its premiere and climbed to 10.3% by its finale. It became the No.1 Korean drama with the highest ratings among all 2025 tvN premieres, surpassing “Bon Appétit, your Majesty” (4.9%). It also topped Netflix Korea’s ranking throughout its run.
Set in 1997 during the IMF crisis, the show explores themes of resilience, survival, and determination as it navigates hardship and loss. The series blends comedy, realism, and emotional depth and portrays the lives of people from all walks of life, especially business owners, employees, job seekers, and families, during the economic crisis.
