Circle Chart Music Awards (CCMA) 2023
The music awards event called The Circle Chart Music Awards (CCMA), previously recognized as the Gaon Chart Music Awards, underwent a significant change. The change was the division of the Artist of the Year category into four distinct categories: Album, Digital, Streaming (Unique Listeners), and Global Streaming.
Similar to previous years, the awards will primarily determine the winners based on the commercial performance of their songs and albums. The data used to determine the winners will be derived from the Circle charts. Since last year, the awards have also incorporated data from the newly launched global K-pop charts.
Date & Venue
The organizing committee for the event made the official announcement, revealing that the ceremony will take place at Busan BEXCO on January 10th at 7 PM (KST). Leeteuk, Sieun, and Seok Matthew will serve as the MCs for the night.
