TOP 50 Kpop Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings in June 2023

The Korean Business Research Institute recently announced the brand reputation rankings for this month’s most popular Kpop idol groups. Here are the top 50 Kpop idol group brand reputation rankings for June 2023, featuring the most popular boy and girl Kpop idol groups.

BTS Reigns Over the Top 50 Kpop Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings in June 2023

Brand reputation analysis for Kpop idol groups includes both boy and girl groups. This analysis determines the brand reputation index by evaluating consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement of Kpop idol group brands.

The Korean Business Research Institute has conducted a big data analysis for June 2023 Kpop idol group brand reputation rankings. They extracted 83,929,675 idol group brand data from May 20, 2023, to June 20, 2023, which showed a 2.40% increase compared to the 81,963,585 data in May.

As a result of this analysis, the top 5 Kpop idols for June 2023 were BTS, BLACKPINK, NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, and IVE.

Top 5 Most Popular Kpop Idol Groups

In June 2023, Kpop boy group BTS, who recently celebrated their 10th anniversary, maintained their first place in the Kpop idol group brand reputation rankings. The group’s brand value experienced a remarkable increase of 75.56 percent, rising from 6,638,894 in May to 11,654,947 in June.

Through the link analysis, terms such as “thank you,” “publish,” and “festival” were identified as highly related to the group. In the keyword analysis, popular phrases associated with BTS were “10th anniversary,” “festa,” and “army.” Furthermore, in the positive-negative ratio analysis, the group obtained an impressive positive rate of 96.53 percent.

Kpop group BLACKPINK maintained their strong presence in second place with a brand value of 5,209,267, experiencing a slight decrease of 2.02 percent compared to their May score of 5,316,470.

NewJeans, a rookie idol group, rose to third place despite a 7.42 percent decrease in brand value, from 4,063,240 in May to 3,761,863 in June.

Kpop boy group SEVENTEEN retained their position in fourth place with a brand value of 3,710,635. However, their value saw a significant decrease of 20.97 percent compared to May’s score of 4,695,065.

On the other hand, Kpop group IVE dropped to fifth place, completing the top five list for this month. Their brand value experienced a notable decrease of 29.10 percent, going from 5,020,997 in May to 3,559,664 this month.
