CJ ENM officially confirms that IZ*ONE relaunch and reunion project has unfortunately been canceled.
Indeed, the company previously mentioned that they had been in discussions with the members’ agency about the possibility of the whole group getting back together in a reunion project.
However, the discussion had fallen through. That is why CJ ENM eventually canceled the IZ*ONE relaunch and reunion project.

On July 6, a source from CJ ENM officially stated that the possibility of the IZ*ONE reunion has fallen through.
“Until recently, we spoke with the agencies while leaving various options open for consideration, but [IZ*ONE’s reunion] ultimately fell through. Regardless of whether or not they are getting back together, please show lots of encouragement and support for the members’ futures.”

Fans Are in Huge Disappointment
After the announcement of the IZ*ONE reunion project cancellation, fans expressed their disappointment, especially to CJ ENM company.
CJ wasn't even part of the plan from the start, they just suddenly stepped in and drag the negotiations for weeks and then suddenly announcing this morning that they "cancelled" the reunion??? ? This project is between PUP and the individual agencies, not CJ.

IZ*ONE Members New Beginning
Despite IZ*ONE relaunch projects failure, it is too early to be disappointed. After all, all IZ*ONE members have now returned to their original agency. However, it doesn’t mean that the possibility of future collaboration is entirely zero.
