December 2024 Korean Drama Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 51,750,532 brand big data related to 16 popular dramas enjoyed by the public from November 10 to December 10, 2024. Compared to the 71,881,500 K-drama brand big data in November, there was a decrease of 28.01 percent.
The institute measured participation, media, communication, community, and viewership indexes using the latest brand big data.
As a result, “The Fiery Priest 2,” “Iron Family,” “When the Phone Rings,” “Gangnam B-Side,” and “The Tale of Lady Ok” took the top five spots in Korean drama brand reputation rankings for December 2024.

1. “The Fiery Priest 2”
SBS’s action comedy series “The Fiery Priest 2” topped the Korean drama brand reputation rankings in December 2024. The show became the most-watched show of Friday. In addition, its latest episode scored 11.3 percent, according to Nielsen Korea. Meanwhile, according to the Korean Business Research Institute’s analysis result, the series achieved a brand reputation index of 7,396,886 in December, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 2,658,359
- Media Index: 1,335,638
- Communication Index: 1,102,459
- Community Index: 842,328
- Viewership Index: 1,458,102
Furthermore, in the link analysis of the brand of “The Fiery Priest 2,” the institute found that the terms “angry,” “exciting,” and “awakening” were highly associated with the series. Meanwhile, the keyword analysis identified “Kim Nam Gil,” “Lee Honey,” and “likes or dislikes” as the most popular keywords. In the positivity-negativity analysis, the series achieved a positive ratio of 87.81 percent.
2. “Iron Family”
KBS2’s “Iron Family,” which keeps viewers captivated with its engaging narrative, ranked second on Korean drama rankings in December. The romantic black comedy attained an impressive brand reputation index of 5,437,740 with the following breakdown:

3. “When the Phone Rings”
