The first EXO Baekhyun solo album City Lights was released on July 10, 2019. His first mini-album consists of six tracks with lead single “UN village.” Baekhyun’s City Light first solo album sales were a great success. More than 550,000 copies of his solo debut were sold in eight days.
Less than a year,EXO-Ls got good news amid the coronavirus pandemic as EXO Baekhyun’s second solo album Delight has released at 6 p.m. KST on May 25, 2020. Again, Baekhyun’s second solo album set a record of pre-order sales.
Baekhyun’s Delight mini-album was sold for 732.297 copies. Even before the music was released, EXO Baekhyun’s second solo album sold 600,908 albums which is broke Kang Daniel‘s Cyan album sales.

The first track that he chose from his 2nd solo album is Candy. This lead single has a type of futuristic R&B with a trendy melody. It is composed by Mike Daley, Mitchell Owens, DEEZ, and Adrian McKinnon. While the Korean lyric was written by Kenzie.
There are two music videos for “Candy.” Those MV are entitled “Spicy Version” and “Sweet Version” In the “Sweet Version,” the concept is very colorful and joyful. While the “Spicy Version” looks more charismatic like on showcase or stage.

On May 27, EXO Baekhyun shared a picture of a wine set. It turns out that the wine set is a gift from Lee Soo Man to congratulate him on his successful new solo album.
Baekhyun wrote, “I received a congratulatory message, ‘Congrats, congrats, congrats. You’re amazing. Thumbs up!’ And a gift, thank you! Producer Lee Soo Man! Light Soo Man.”
The support also came from other EXO members. EXO Suho and Chanyeol, came over to show their support on the set of Candy MV.
