Join us in a complete discussion in the story below.
FIFTY FIFTY Releases Teaser for September 2024 Comeback
Kpop monster rookie FIFTY FIFTY is finally making an exciting comeback with Keena and new members in September 2024.
On August 7 at midnight KST, the group’s agency ATTRAKT officially announced a sneak peek of FIFTY FIFTY comeback plans as a 5-member group featuring Keena and 4 new members.
According to the announcement, FIFTY FIFTY will be dropping their second mini album on September 20 at 1 PM KST. Not only that, but the group will also be dropping a new song on August 30.
Original Member Keena Re-Debuting with 4 New Members: New Face for Fresh Start!
After the long and horrible dispute between the original members Saena, Sio, and Aran, FIFTY FIFTY can finally open a new chapter in their career. Original member Keena will finally have her second chance and re-debut with 4 promising new members, forming a new bond that will hopefully last a long time.
Moreover, ATTRAKT has also formed a completely new transformation for FIFTY FIFTY, including a new logo for the group and a new name for the official fandom.
Formerly known as HUNNIES, the group announced on August 5 that the name of the official fan club has changed to TWENY.
In their announcement, FIFTY FIFTY also shared the reason behind the new name.
“When you look at the number 50 in a mirror, it appears as 20 because of the mirror’s inversion. This represents how FIFTY FIFTY is always looking towards their fans, and their fans are looking back at them.
It’s a way to show that FIFTY FIFTY and their fans are always connected, facing each other and sharing every moment together.”

A New Controversy!
Yet, instead of welcoming this fresh start of FIFTY FIFTY, some of the fans are boycotting the 2024 September comeback of Keena and the 4 new members.
Apparently, some of the fans of the original FIFTY FIFTY members are massively protesting against the rebranding version due to their loyalty to Saena, Sio, and Aran. These fans believed that these 3 members have been suffering from mistreatment from ATTRAKT and are now facing unreasonable debt and an impossible future.
Fans are rallying on social media with new hashtags #NotMyFIFTYFIFTY and #BoycottFIFTYFIFTY. These fans are calling for a massive boycott against FIFTY FIFTY, the new lineup members, and their upcoming September 2024 comeback.
Revenue from the new FIFTY FIFTY will fund ATTRAKT’s 13 billion KRW damages lawsuit against the former members, whose experiences you can read about in the thread below.

This boycott then becomes another controversy and war against FIFTY FIFTY’s fresh start. It turned even worse after reports revealed that the 37-year-old Singaporean businessman and CEO of Evergreen Group Holdings David Yong, the one who invested on FIFTY FIFTY, was recently arrested for tax fraud.
Therefore, fans are starting to worry about the future of FIFTY FIFTY, especially approaching their September comeback.
- “So this is the guy who put money into FIFTY FIFTY.”
- “What’s going to happen with FIFTY FIFTY now?”
- “I had a feeling something was off about him. Wow.”
- “I first heard about him when he said he was investing in FIFTY FIFTY and… I kinda saw this coming.”
- “Every time I saw him on TV, I thought he was a scammer. I mean, real wealthy people don’t go on shows asking for investment tips.”
- “Wait, didn’t he invest in FIFTY FIFTY’s management?”
- “It was odd seeing someone supposedly so ‘rich’ on a show like Unpredictable Fortunetellers. And the way he flaunted his wealth was strange. If he was truly that rich, he wouldn’t need media attention; he’d have his own connections. That being said, I hope FIFTY FIFTY can still make their comeback and succeed.”
So, what about you? Do you think FIFTY FIFTY deserves a second chance with Keena and the new members? And will they really have the chance in the upcoming comeback? Please share your thoughts in the comments.
