1. Who is Trainee A?

Kpop fans don’t need a long time to notice a group of attractive boys on the internet. Several months ago, netizens found a YouTube channel of ‘Trainee A.’

From the videos, the trainees can be seen rehearsing at the Big Hit Entertainment old building. Therefore, netizens concluded that Trainee A is a group of trainees under HYBE Labels.

Besides, Trainee A Instagram account is followed by HYBE Label producers, like Slow Rabbit, Pdogg, Hiss Noise, and FRANTS.

It is rumored that Trainee A will debut sometime in 2022 under HYBE Labels. However, there is no official statement about Trainee A from the label.

2. Trainee A current members

Trainee A seems to be a 6-piece boy group with a current lineup: Inhyuk, Jihoon, Leo, James, Sangwon, and a recently revealed member, JJ.

Inhyuk was born on August 5. He is said to be the oldest member of Trainee A. However, his year of birth is still unknown.

Leo, the second eldest, was born on August 22, 2002.

Meanwhile, Sangwon was born on May 8, 2003.

There is a two-year gap between Sangwon and James, who was born on October 14, 2005.

Jihoon is known to be on the maknae line of Trainee A. He was born in 2006, but his birth date is not revealed yet.

The recently introduced member, JJ, is also a 2006 liner together with Jihoon. He was born on January 27, 2006.

3. One of Trainee A members has left

Unfortunately, one of Trainee A members left the group even before debuting. On August 2, Trainee A members sent farewell messages to Junil in a YouTube video, “Undelivered Words.”

4. Multi-talented members

Trainee A members are not only good-looking, but they also have many talents.

James is a multi-language speaker: English, Korean, Thai, and Chinese. Not only that, but James is also a hockey player and Taekwondo athlete.

5. Trainee A members come from different places

Interestingly, Trainee A members have different backgrounds.

Sangwon is a Korean and comes from Seoul. James is a Thai-Chinese, and comes from Hong Kong; no wonder he can speak four languages. Leo moved from Australia to South Korea to pursue his dream. JJ is a Japanese-American and was born in Japan. However, Inhyuk and Jihoon’s hometowns have not yet been revealed.

6. Cameos

In the music video of BTS ‘Permission to Dance,’ Leo appeared as a cameo along with two teenage girls who are mentioned to be HYBE trainees too.

Another member who has become a cameo is Sangwon. A netizen spotted someone who resembles Sangwon in the movie ‘She’s Dating the Gangster.’
