The holiday spirit should have graced the people with happiness, health, and peace. However, during their rare and short break, the names of BTS Jungkook and actress Lee Yoo Bi suddenly circulated on the internet in a false dating rumor.
On December 27, various Korean media posted that BTS Jungkook and actress Lee Yoo Bi had refuted the false dating rumor emerging about the two celebrities. Reports mentioned that both celebrities had been caught in a false dating rumor previously posted on YouTube. That is why both BTS Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi denied the false dating rumor.
BIGHIT Music and Y-Bloom Entertainment Officially Denied the False Dating Rumor
Furthermore, reports also mentioned that both BTS Jungkook BIGHIT Music agency and actress Lee Yoon Bi Y-Bloom Entertainment had made official statements regarding the false dating rumor.
According to Lee Yoo Bi’s agency, the emerging dating rumor was groundless and absurd. That is because both BTS Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi have never even met. And both artists even don’t know each other.
“This dating rumor about Lee Yoo Bi and Jungkook makes no sense. Both artists do not even know and have never met each other. Among members of BTS, Lee Yoo Bi once mentioned that she knew Suga. However, it was a long time ago, and we don’t even know whether they’re still in touch today.
When we asked about the dating rumor, Lee Yoo Bi was just laughing because it was obviously so not true.”

Who is the Cruel Mastermind Behind BTS Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi False Dating Rumor?
Even though Korean media only mentioned that the sudden rumor appeared on the YouTube video platform. Apparently, fans found out the cruel mastermind behind this false dating rumor is the very YouTuber who had received warnings from BTS V (Kim Taehyung).

Previously, the malicious YouTuber had spread various false rumors about BTS V. One false rumor mentioned BTS V causing some commotion due to being intoxicated. And another false rumor stated that BTS V had been dating the daughter of the Paradise Group chairman.
In addition to spreading false rumors about BTS V, the malicious YouTuber also spread groundless rumors about Kpop celebrities, including BTS Jimin, IVE Jang Won Young, IU, aespa, NCT, and Stray Kids.
BIGHIT Music Finally Taking Actions
Finally, due to severe false rumors created by the malicious YouTuber, BTS’ BIGHIT Music agency officially stated that they were planning to take legal actions.
According to the company, the malicious YouTuber’s posts have “exceeded what is socially acceptable for personal expressions and commentary”. That is because these posts contain “criticisms with ill-intentions, and spread personal attacks and groundless information.”
Therefore, just as they have previously mentioned, BIGHIT plans to strengthen and take regular legal actions against the malicious commenters who have spread false information about BTS.
