Synopsis
Hellbound is a Korean horror series adapted from the webcomic “Hellbound.” The story was written by Yeon Sang-Ho and illustrated by Choi Kyu Seok. It follows the supernatural creatures that come out of nowhere. They then issue a decree and condemn people to hell.
These uncanny events create havoc among society. Moreover, it allows the religious group, The New Truth, to gain clout. Yet, a few people become suspicious about the group. Thus, they begin to investigate its involvement in strange phenomena that happened.
The series Hellbound has recorded 43.48 million hours watched globally in the first three days. It also dominated Netflix’s TOP 10 Global TV series (non-English) category in 71 countries.
