Being a leader is not an easy task, and has a lot of responsibility and burden to handle. Not everyone can be a good leader. But why is Bang Chan so well suited as the leader of Stray Kids? Here are some of the reasons why Bang Chan is a great leader.
Ultimate Reasons Why Stray Kids Bang Chan Is a Great Leader
1. Bang Chan is the oldest son
Christopher Bang, known as Bang Chan, is the eldest of three children. He has a younger sister (Hannah) and a younger brother (Lucas). The leadership skill Bang Chan owns probably has something to do with his role as the eldest brother. He likes helping others, and that’s the reason why Bang Chan is a great leader.
“I always like doing stuff for other people. I have learned to accept that I am someone who thinks about others before myself.”

2. Stray Kids members are important
One value that Bang Chan keeps in mind is that each of Stray Kids members is important. So yes, he thinks highly of all Stray Kids members. With that kind of attitude, no wonder that the rest of Stray Kids members respect and listen to him.
“They are angels. Okay, they’re not angels. They’re good little demons. Let’s put it that way. They’re just really nice kids, and they listen to what I have to say. I listen to what they have to say, too. We communicate a lot. It’s all thanks to them that I can be who I am right now.”

3. Strong sense of responsibility
Bang Chan’s sense of responsibility has grown since he was a kid. It probably has something to do with (once again) his role as the eldest brother. According to Changbin, Bang Chan like to put others’ needs first.
“He has a strong sense of responsibility, and makes a lot of sacrifices for the team.”

4. Bang Chan is a good brother
A good leader should be a good friend and brother too. What’s the point of being a leader without a solid brotherhood?
“Bang Chan is a good older brother, a good friend, a good person, and a perfect leader.”
Han
5. Bang Chan is a Perfectionist
As an eldest of three children, Bang Chan has been raised in a high standard. Not surprisingly, Bang Chan now holds himself to his own highest standards.
“A compliment makes me feel really shy. I’m thinking, ‘am I allowed to accept it?’ When I look at myself, I’m not satisfied with myself yet.”

6. Accept his weakness
When asked about maintaining his image as a good leader, Bang Chan doesn’t think of himself as such.
“The moment that you accept that you’re a good leader, it means that you’re not a good leader.”
Bang Chan
Even if Bang Chan doesn’t think of himself as a good leader, the rest of Stray Kids members (and STAYs) think so. What could be better than that? What do you think? Is Bang Chan the perfect leader of Stray Kids?
