Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA/기상청) is where the main characters, Lee Si Woo (Song Kang), Jin Ha Kyung (Park Min Young), Han Ki Joon (Yoon Park), and Chae Yoo Jin (Girl’s Day Yura), work. Therefore, most scenes were recorded at the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
The building is real and is the headquarter of KMA. Starting in 1904, it became the national meteorological service of the Republic of Korea.

1. The Place Seoul (Hanok Got)
Have you ever thought about how cozy Jin Ha Kyung’s house is when watching ‘Forecasting Love and Weather’? Living with her mother and sister, Ha Kyung really has a lovely warm house.
The filming location of Ha Kyung’s house in ‘Forecasting Love and Weather’ is The Place Seoul, or WWOOF Korea Hanok Guesthouse, more known as Hanok Got. Located in Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Hanok Got is one of the recommended places to stay during your visit to Seoul.
What to do around Hanok Got?
You have a lot to do around Hanok Got as beautiful places surround it. You only need a 7-minute walk to Bukchon Hanok Village, a 2-minute walk to Changdeokgung Palace, and a 15-minute walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong Culture Street.

2. Gamaksan Mountain
The beautiful filming locations of ‘Forecasting Love and Weather’ are one reason people are watching this trending Kdrama. Even from episode 1, we can see the spectacular scenery of one of the five mountains in Gyeonggi Province, Gamaksan Mountain.
Lee Si Woo seems to enjoy the fresh air and stunning greenery of Gamaksan Mountain. Located in Gamgol-gil, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, Gamaksan Mountain is 657 meter high. ‘Gamak’ means ‘dark blue rocky,’ because we can see black and blue light coming out at the same time through the rocks.
Not only does it provides fresh air and beautiful scenery to refresh your mind, but it also has a suspension bridge named Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge, which is 150 meters long.
What to see around Gamaksan Mountain?
If you want to have hiking experiences, they offer 5 hiking courses, from 2.1 km to 6.6 km.
The mountain offers a lovely view of Songaksan Mountain in Gaeseong and Bukhansan Mountain in Seoul. Besides, we can visit the old Beomryunsa Temple at the western foothills and Ungyepokpo Waterfall.

Gamaksan Mountain is located in the North, so the best option is driving a car. However, if you don’t have one, you can rent. Another option is to take bus number 25 from Uijeongbu station and get off at Beopryunsa Temple. The bus ride takes around an hour.

3. Gwangdeoksan Weather Radar Center
Lee Si Woo doesn’t only give us an outstanding view of Gamaksan Mountain in episode 1, but he also visits the Gwangdeoksan Mountain Weather Radar Center. There, Lee Si Woo checks the weather machines and realizes that the ground temperature in Gangwon is too high in mid-March.
Gwangdeoksan Weather Radar Center is one of the weather radar centers by the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
How to get to Gwangdeoksan Weather Radar Center?
You can take the subway to Uijeongbu Station and walk around 10 meters to Hanhwa Insurance Co. Bus Station from Seoul. Then, you can continue your trip by taxi directly to Gwangdeoksan, or by bus to Dopyeongri (138-5 Pocheon Bus) and continue by Taxi to Gwangdeoksan.

4. Stone Hill by Seokparang
Lee Si Woo brings his girlfriend Chae Yoo Jin (Girl’s Day Yura) to a restaurant named Stone Hill (스톤힐) in episode 1. Yoo Jin once told Si Woo that she wanted to come to the restaurant. While Si Woo is enthusiastic that he remembers her wish, Yoo Jin tells him she’d already been there.
Stone Hill has been one of the filming locations of several popular Kdramas besides ‘Forecasting Love and Weather.’ Other Kdramas recorded in Stone Hill are Melancholia and Vincenzo.
What to do at Stone Hill?
What else can we do in a restaurant? First, of course, we should enjoy the meal they offer. Stone Hill is an affiliated Italian restaurant. It provides a variety of tasty and warm Italian food, such as pizza, meat & fish, pasta, salad, risotto.
From their tagline ‘Italian Dining with View,’ we are sure we can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the restaurant.
How to get to Stone Hill?
The restaurant is located 1.5 km from the Gyeongbokgung entrance area on Subway Line 3. It’s on the left side of the Jahamin Tunnel.
Stone Hill opens from noon to 3.00 PM and 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM. However, the Italian restaurant closes every Monday and on New Year’s Days (January 1 and Chinese New Year) and Chuseok Day.

5. Ichizen Tenpurameshi (이치젠덴푸라메시)
In episode 2, Lee Si Woo and Jin Ha Kyung come to drink at Ichizen Tenpurameshi separately. They bicker about the air conditioning and annoy the owner. However, in the next episode, they come here together to have a drink and kiss outside the bar.
Not only ‘Forecasting Love and Weather,’ but in 2020 ‘Do You Like Brahms?’ was also filmed here.
What to do at Ichizen Tenpurameshi?
The restaurant opened in 2019, and a famous Japanese tendon restaurant. It would be best to try their tasty tendon (rice bowl topped with tempura).

Seoulgyo, or Seoul Bridge, is a 236m-long bridge that connects Yeouido-dong and Yeongdeungpo-gu. Crossing the Saetgang (Saet River) at the Gyeongin-ro, the views from this bridge is quite lovely.

From the Seodaemun Station, take Line 5, to Singil Station [신길역], Seoul Subway Lines 1 and 5, Exit 2, and walk for 14 minutes.

7. Daechung Park Café – Yeonnam Branch (대충유원지)
Jin Ha Kyung and Han Ki Joon meet up in Daechung Park Café to negotiate the split of their apartment.
The other Kdrama that used Daechung Park Café as one of the filming locations was ‘KBS Drama Special: Be;twin’ (비트윈) in 2021.
What to do at Daechung Park Café?
On the 1st floor, they also sell handicrafts that you can buy for souvenirs. Meanwhile, a photography studio is on the 2nd floor and an art gallery on the 3rd floor.
How to get to Daechung Park Café?
Daechung Park Café is located among the city’s labyrinth of buildings. To find the place, we can look for a signboard with Chinese characters ‘無目的’ means ‘no objectives.’
From the City Hall Station, take 2-Green Line, to Hongik University Station, and walk for about 9 minutes to Daechung Park Café.

8. Old Mullae (올드문래)
In episode 3, Lee Si Woo and Jin Ha Kyung had dinner at Old Mullae, where they unexpectedly met their work colleagues. Additionally, in front of the restaurant, Si Woo and Ha Kyung confessed their feelings to each other for the first time.
The other Kdramas filmed in this location are ‘My Roommate Is A Gumiho,’ ’18 Again,’ and ‘Start-Up.’
What to do at Old Mullae?
Old Mullae is a café during the day and a bar at night. The owner (who is also an architect) is clever enough to use the abandoned steel products and turn them into decorations. It makes Old Mullae looks like it pops right out of a 90’s American movie. It is an excellent place to take lots of pictures with the decorations.

9. Samcheong-dong Korea Guesthouse (삼청동 코리아 게스트하우스)
In ‘Forecasting Love and Weather,’ Lee Si Woo remembers a moment of his childhood in episode 7. His father took him to this guesthouse (which appeared as a motel) and asked him to wait outside. After waiting for a long time, it started to rain, and little Si Woo decided to look for his father and found him gambling in one of the rooms.
This guesthouse seems to be popular among Kdrama lovers. Several Kdramas were recorded in this place, like ‘Oh, My Ladylord!’ ‘Do Do Sol Dol La La Sol,’ ‘Flower of Evil,’ and ‘Hotel Del Luna.’

Jin Ha Kyung invited Lee Si Woo to have a morning talk after she finished her exercise, to talk about their relationship. The scene was taken at The River Café. Although Lee Si Woo didn’t seem to eat or drink anything in the drama, The River Café actually offers several kinds of bakery and beverages.
What to do at The River Café?
The River Café opens from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM every day. From the café, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Han River. If you have a budget and want to make memories, you can also charter a yacht to go around the Han River.
