‘MASCARA’ stands as an anthem for the next generation – emboldened with confidence and compassion. XG first comeback single, ‘MASCARA,’ evokes strength, unity, and friendship. The new song aims to show a message of empowerment and self-confidence for the next generations and will show the union, compassion, and courage, qualities that capture XG’s essence.
The bold defiance in the line “don’t mess with my mascara” captures XG’s fresh and fearless spirit. Nobody is going to make them cry.

The teasers for “MASCARA” called attention by showing seven different scenarios and sophisticated concepts, highlighting each member’s dynamic and singular aesthetics. The girls are portrayed in scenarios such as a tennis court, a dinner table with a cat, or playing chess against themselves.
The video and the song will bring them together through a message of compassion, courage, and boldness, with an emphasis on the sentence that is part of the chorus: “don’t mess with my mascara”.

XG comeback single ‘MASCARA’ will be released on June 29 at 12 AM (JST/KST). Meanwhile, the music video will be out at 6 PM (JST/KST) on the same day. A CD Box set will be available for this 2nd single.
Previously, the limited-edition Tippy Toes CD sold out immediately during pre-orders. The 1st Single Tippy Toes was only the start. However, this comeback single, ‘MASCARA,’ is the continuation of XG journey, and everyone is hyped to see what is going to drop.
