Netflix “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 Confirmed with a Trailer: Possible Storyline and Release Date?
The sensational school drama that started this year with a huge boom, Netflix “All of Us Are Dead” is finally getting its second season!
Since its first release in January, Netflix “All of Us Are Dead” immediately rose to the top of Netflix’s ranking worldwide despite its mixed reviews. The dramatic twists and turn in the Season 1 storyline have brought the whole Kdrama universe into the roller-coaster ride of these amazing teenagers and their fights against the zombie calamity.
Today, we can finally shout in excitement because the roller coaster will continue twisting and turning!
On June 6, Netflix confirmed “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 with an announcement trailer from its cast members. In the video, the previous cast members of “All of Us Are Dead” showed up in documentary-style footage and confirmed that “All of Us Are Dead” will truly return for a Season 2.
What is the Storyline About?
Unlike the other zombie projects, “All of Us Are Dead” Season 1 emphasized the perspective of how young people react in a desperate situation. While most adults will make safer and more well-thought decisions, it doesn’t work the same with teenagers.
“When adults experience such a dangerous situation, they will all find a safer way.
But it’s not the case with children. Sometimes, they make riskier decisions.
I wanted to make a story that will lead people to think about what it means to be an adult and a human by watching the children’s decisions and actions in a life-or-death situation.”

After successfully conveying such a wonderful message in the first season, director Lee Jae Kyoo planned to raise a different issue in “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 storyline.
Previously in Season 1, there were two types of survivors in the story: the human group and the zombie group. According to the director, “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 storyline will show the contrasting difference between how two surviving groups will keep on living.
“Season 1 compared and contrasted how adults and students survive the zombie apocalypse. Therefore, in season 2, I want to show the comparison between the human group and the zombie group who have survived.”

Cheong San Will Return!
Most importantly, now that the official trailer of Netflix “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 is out with its complete cast members, one thing is for sure: Cheong San WILL return!
In Season 1, we all wondered whether Yoon Chan Young’s character, Cheong San, was still alive after the explosion. Director Lee Jae Kyoo also once teased that it would be fantastic if Cheong San were to remain alive.
“If Cheong San were to return alive, I believe there will be viewers who won’t be able to accept the story. However, I also know some fans will also be happy about it. So, yes, we have a definite plan, but we cannot share it for now.
I do have a small picture that I had drawn out based on imagination about what would happen if all the other actors, including Cheong San, were to appear in Season 2.”

Now that the Netflix announcement trailer is out, we can safely assume that Cheong San WILL return in “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2.
Why? Because the Season 2 video announcement includes all the original cast members of “All of Us Are Dead”. And that includes Park Solomon, Cho Yi Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, and Yoon Chan Young.
