What Really Happened Behind Rowoon & SF9 July 2022 Comeback? Is He Still Part of the Group?
The dazzling 3rd gen Kpop group, SF9, is finally gearing up for their most highly anticipated comeback in July 2022.
On June 4, SF9 FNC Entertainment agency confirmed that the group would soon return with a stunning comeback performance in July 2022.

SF9 Makes July 2022 Comeback with 6-Member Formation – WHY?
However, even when the group originally consisted of 9 members, SF9 decided to proceed with their comeback with only 6 members: Jaeyoon, Dawon, Zuho, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani.
SF9 eldest members Inseong and Youngbin currently serve on their mandatory military service. Therefore, it is impossible for the both of them to join the SF9 comeback schedule in July 2022.
What REALLY Happened?
So what about Roowon then? What happened to Rowoon that he had to sit out the SF9 July 2022 comeback schedule?
On June 24, FNC Entertainment released an official statement regarding what happened to Rowoon that he had to sit out the group comeback. According to the agency, SF9 Rowoon cannot participate in the group’s comeback process in July 2022 because of a scheduling conflict.
As we all know, Rowoon previously joined the phenomenal “The King’s Affection” drama. Then, just when he was about to finalize filming for the sageuk, he immediately joined the fantastic but controversial webtoon drama “Tomorrow”.
The filming schedule for both dramas apparently went simultaneously with the production process during the SF9 July 2022 comeback schedule. And since the filming schedule for his dramas was extremely tight, it was impossible for Rowoon to join both activities at the same time.
“Rowoon faced an inevitable situation in which he had to work on a tight schedule due to the combination of drama filming schedules during the long-running album production period.
As he finished the drama as scheduled, we had a deep discussion about preparing for the next album and decided that it was right to show a better performance with a better level of completion, so with much difficulty, it was inevitably decided that he would not participate in the album production and activities.”

Is Rowoon Still Part of SF9?
So, does what happened to Rowoon mean he is still part of SF9? The answer to this question is: ABSOLUTELY!
Indeed, Rowoon has been slowly and continuously rising as one of the greatest idol actors with great acting skills. He may have just debuted as an actor in 2017, but the improvement shown in the intensity and details of his acting skills is beyond common sense. Topped with his stunning visuals, incredible posture, and powerful expressions, it is no wonder that Rowoon is now among the top 10 on Korean Actor Brand Reputation Ranking.
However, even when he has achieved such a high reputation in the Kdrama industry in such a short time, it does not diminish the fact that he is a proud member of the Kpop group SF9. Since even before their debut in 2016, Rowoon has been a crucial and irreplaceable member of SF9. He was one of the first members to join the group and underwent an extremely challenging 6 years of training with Zuho.
That is why even when everyone holds his name highly in the Korean drama industry, Rowoon is still and will always be a vital part of SF9.
Fans Demand Better Decisions About Rowoon Taking Part in SF9 July Comeback 2022
Finally, loyal fans of SF9, Fantasy, believe that the company should have been able to make better decisions regarding Rowoon’s schedule.
According to the fans, since FNC Entertainment is in complete charge of their artists’ schedules, the company should have managed them better so Rowoon could embrace both his passion for acting and his career with SF9.

After all, Rowoon sitting out SF9 comeback has triggered some angry fans, claiming that Rowoon is incapable of setting aside his interest for the group. However, Fantasy fans remain loyal and remind everyone that the decision did not simply come from Rowoon. Instead, they believe that the company and everyone in the group must have decided what’s best for SF9.
Therefore, Fantasy fans should trust SF9 and SF9 only.

So Inseong said that Rowoon is to stay in Seoul – he recorded this before leaving.. so it was planned all along for Rowoon not to be part of the cb. This makes me feel so much better. They probably talked and decided together as a group what was best. Let’s trust sf9 ♥️#SF9

Rowoon has become the designated punchbag of SF9. This 6 member cb is obviously a group decision and has been planned months ago. But FNC and everyone else just kept quiet while Rowoon took the blame and backlash all my himself. He went acting to promote the group and successfully brought in lots of fans for them. Is it his fault that he became famous and overworked along the way? Can he have other interests and dreams outside of SF9? He works hard and keeps a low profile but toxic fans and haters still find every little opportunity to put shade on him. Everything is so twisted. I wish one day Rowoon would be free to do whatever he wants. He is a multi-talented artist and I will support him in whatever he chooses to do.

To be honest, I didn't even know anything about SF9 UNTIL I met Rowoon. I mean, no offense, but he played HUGE part in getting the group famous.
I dunno why they just discredit all that hard work simply because he's more famous than the other group members.
