The first Blue Dragon Series Awards ceremony in South Korea was held in Paradise City, Yeongjong-do, Incheon, on July 19. Famous Korean actors, actresses, and entertainers attended and shone at the event. Check out the winners who bagged the first Blue Dragon Series Awards in 2022 below.
A Complete List of the 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards Winners
The ceremony was led by Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and Jun Hyun Moo. Meanwhile, the nominations were brought by the presenters of the show. The presenters included famous actors and actresses such as Kim Young Dae, Park Hyung Sik, AOA’s Seolhyun, Lee Se Young, SHINee’s Key, Hwang Min Hyun, Noh Jeong Ui, Moon So Ri, and Girl’s Day Hyeri.
A total of 54 actors, actresses, entertainers, and 10 shows have competed in 12 categories and 1 award for the Popular Star award. For the drama, there are Best Drama, Best Actor & Actress, Best Supporting Actor & Actress, and Best New Actor & Actress. Meanwhile, for Entertainment, there are Best Entertainment Program, Best Male and Female Entertainer, and Best New Male and Female New Entertainer.
As reported previously, “Squid Game” and “D.P.” earned the most nominations; as a result, Netflix’s hit series “Squid Game” won two nominations for Best Actor Award (Lee Jung Jae) and Best Supporting Actress (Jung Ho Yeon).
Meanwhile, another Netflix hit series, “D.P.,” won Best Drama and Best Rookie Actor (Goo Kyo Hwan). And another lead actor of “D.P.,” Jung Hae In, took home the Tir Tir Popularity Award alongside Han Hyo Joo, Kang Daniel, Lee Yong Jin, DKZ’s Jaechan, and Park Seoham.

- Best Actor: Lee Jung Jae (“Squid Game”)
- Best Actress: Kim Go Eun (“Yumi’s Cells”)
- Best Supporting Actor: Lee Hak Joo (“Political Fever”)
- Best Supporting Actress: Kim Shin Rok (“Hellbound”)
- Best Rookie Actor: Goo Kyo Hwan (“D.P.”)
- Best Rookie Actress: Jung Ho Yeon (“Squid Game”)
- TIRTIR Popularity Award: Jung Hae In (D.P.), Han Hyo Joo (Happiness), Kang Daniel (Rookie Cops), Lee Yong Jin (Transit Love), DKZ’s Jaechan (Semantic Error), Park Seoham (Semantic Error)

- Best Entertainment Program: “Transit Love”
