BLACKPINK “Pink Venom” MV reportedly became the biggest budget MV YG Entertainment ever made. We can see that the “Pink Venom” MV is impressive and powerful. The MV fascinates the viewers with numerous strong elements like addictive music, fashion, makeup, choreography, and more features that successfully captivate the viewers from the beginning to the end of the mv.
2. Blackpink’s Jisoo Plays Geomungo
After wearing Hanboks in their comeback song “How You Like That” in 2020, the group continues putting Korean culture in their MV and performances. “Pink Venom” was described as a mix of hip-hop and traditional Korean instrumentals.
This time, the group presented Geomungo. Geomungo is a traditional Korean stringed instrument made in Goguryeo before the 5th century. To produce notes, Geomungo string is plucked using a bridge and fret or small bamboo sticks called suldae with one hand while the other presses the strings.
The elegant sounds of geomungo at the beginning of the song “Pink Venom” was from Jisoo play. And on June 18, 2021, Jisoo gave a clue about her geomungo play for “Pink Venom.”
