BLACKPINK Leads the TOP 100 Korean Singer Brand Reputation Rankings in 2022

On August 27, the Korean Business Research Institute has released this month’s list of the most popular Korean singers. The institute has collected 158,503,807 singer brand big data from July 27, 2022, to August 27, to analyze the consumers’ brand participation, media, communication, and community. However, compared to the July singer brand big data of 136,447,458, it increased by 16.16 percent.

As a result, Kpop girl group BLACKPINK was crowned as the most popular Korean singer this month with a brand reputation index of 4,383,844, marking a significant increase of 213.47 percent since July. Then climbed up to the No. 2 spot, BTS, with a brand reputation index of 7,404,133 this month, marking a rise of 38.84 percent from July.

Dropped to the No. 3, there was Lim Young Woong, with a brand reputation index of 6,879,414, marking a 16.64 percent decrease from last month. Next at No. 4 is Kpop girl group IVE, with a brand reputation index of 5,982,900, marking a significant increase of 81.64 percent since July. Finally, at No. 5, there was IU with a brand reputation index of 5,071,476, marking an increase of 17.13 percent since last month
