New Reality Show SEO JIN’S to Release in February
SEO JIN’S Release Date and Cast Members
After all the cast members confirmed to join the new reality show SeoJin’s, they filmed the show last December. On January 10, Korean Media StarNews reported PD Na Young Suk’s upcoming project, SeoJin’s (working title), is currently in the final stages. The restaurant reality show will premiere sometime in early February this year. Meanwhile, the broadcast time is expected to air on Friday night, possibly on February 3 or 10.
The upcoming reality show, Seo Jin’s, is a spin-off of Youn’s Kitchen, starring Lee Seo Jin as a restaurant director, Lee Jung Yu Mi as an assistant chef, and Shin Goo as a part-timer in the first season. Meanwhile, Park Seo Joon entered the show as an intern in the second season and assistant chef in Youn’s Stay.
Unfortunately, veteran actress Youn Yuh Jung couldn’t join the new program. It was due to her filming schedule for season 2 of the Apple TV+ original series, Pachinko. Thus, Lee Seo Jin was promoted to business owner and handled the restaurant management. The actor is known as a business administration graduate from New York University. In addition, actor Choi Woo Shik who previously joined the Youn’s Stay program, joined the new restaurant program, SeoJin’s.
Korean Fast Foods
The previous season Youn’s Kitchen presented traditional Korean food such as bulgogi and bibimbap. Meanwhile, the SeoJin’s brought up the Korean fast foods theme and challenged the chef celebrities to serve a lighter and friendlier menu with Korean street foods.
Since they filmed in Mexico, some spicy and sweet Korean mouthwatering fast foods such as Tteokbokki, Korean Chicken Fried, Fire Buldak, Pajeon, Gimbap, Bungeoppang, and more might be on the menu.
BTS V in New Reality Show Seo Jin’s
Last December, Park Soo Joon and BTS V were seen hanging out together at a local restaurant abroad, sparking speculation that V might also participate in SeoJin’s. While the initial filming of SeoJin’s was in Mexico, BTS V was reported to have joined the program.

Previously, in response to the reports, tvN said, “Please check out V’s appearance on the show.” Afterward, BTS V revealed his existence on his social media last December since he was wearing a shirt with Lee SeoJin’s face on it and put the flag of Mexico in the caption.
In addition, in May 2021, BTS V appeared on the entertainment program The Game Caterers. During the game, he received a “special ticket” that allowed him to appear on PD Na Young Suk’s program anytime. It strengthened BTS V participation in PD Na Young Suk’s reality show.
Furthermore, the show marked the second reality show for the Wooga Squad members BTS V, Park Seo Joon, and Choi Woo Shik after their first one in IN THE SOOP: Friendcation.
The news also reported that all the cast members were already back home at the end of December.
