Park Ji Hoo and Jo Joon Young Will Reportedly Lead New Webtoon-Based Drama SPIRIT FINGERS
Two rising stars, Park Ji Hoo and Jo Joon Young, may team up for the first time in a new drama project together. The two rookie actors have been offered to play the lead roles in the new drama Spirit Fingers. It is an adaptation of the popular Webtoon by Han Kyoung Chal and was first serialized in 2015.
As reported by Korean news outlet Xports News, Park Ji Hoo’s agency BH Entertainment confirmed the report and stated,
“Park Ji Hoo is seriously considering to take part in Spirit Fingers.”

Meanwhile, according to Korean news outlet Hankyung, young actor Jo Joon Young has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming new drama based on Webtoon.
The upcoming Korean drama based on the webtoon Spirit Fingers is planned to have 12 episodes. Jung Yoon Jung, the writer of the dramas Misaeng, The Bride of Habaek, and Idol: The Coup, will write the script.

Spirit Fingers is a slice-of-life webtoon. The story follows Song Woo Yeon’s adventure in seeking her own true colors. Song Woo Yeon is an ordinary student who lacks self-confidence. Moreover, she is conscious of the people around her and can’t fully express her intentions or feelings.
But her life becomes more colorful after she joins a bizarre drawing club named Spirit Fingers. There, she meets different kinds of people, including Nam Ki Jung, a handsome young man. Afterward, she starts learning things that make her heart race. She also does what her heart desires, pursues her dream, and loves herself.
Park Ji Hoo and Jo Joon Young have received offers to play the main characters of Song Woo Yeon and Nam Ki Jung in the new drama Spirit Fingers. If both actors accept the proposals, it will be their first drama project together.

Rookie actress Park Ji Hoo debuted in acting in Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned (2016). Meanwhile, her first small screen project was Sweet Revenge Season 2 (2018). Her popularity is skyrocketing after she was cast in Netflix’s series All of Us Are Dead and Little Women.
Her upcoming projects are the movie Concrete Utopia and the second season of the Korean drama All of Us Are Dead. In Concrete Utopia, she will play with Park Seo Joon, Lee Byung Hun, and Park Bo Young.
Meanwhile, rookie actor Jo Joon Young made his acting debut in Kdrama Live On in 2020. His also cast in the star-studded movie Happy New Year in 2021, Idol: The Coup in 2021, and Dear M in 2022. His upcoming dramas are Heesu in Class 2 and All That We Loved. In All That We Loved, he will play as one of the leads along with EXO’s Sehun and Jang Yeo Bin.
