Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon New Drama Announces Full Main Cast Lineup
Actress Lim Ji Yeon is continuously rising to the peak of her career. After previously announced to have landed two exhilarating projects this year, more details are now available regarding her project with South Korea’s goddess Kim Tae Hee.
On April 17, Korean media MK revealed more cast lineups for Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon new drama, House with a Yard. It is a suspenseful family thriller, full of dark secrets and mysteries, based on a best-selling novel of the same name.
Rumored to be an 8-episode miniseries, House with a Yard drama will be under the leadership of director Jung Ji Hyun. And Korean drama enthusiasts will definitely realize that Jung Ji Hyun PD has been behind various hit dramas, including Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Mr. Sunshine, and The King: Eternal Monarch.
House with a Yard Full Storyline and Characters
Previously, House with a Yard drama only provided vague basic concept of its storyline. It was about the secrets of two women who live seemingly perfect lives. Today, the production team finally revealed more details of its characters and plot.
Kim Tae Hee as Joo Ran
The goddess actress Kim Tae Hee will assume the main role, Joo Ran. She may seem to be living the perfect life in a perfect house, indeed. But one day, she starts realizing suspicious smells in the backyard of her own house.
With this smell begins a new suspenseful thriller story that destroys her picturesque life of which everyone was previously jealous.
Moreover, since this is the first time Kim Tae Hee has taken a mystery thriller project, fans are excited to see how she would handle the role in her new drama.
Lim Ji Yeon as Sang Eun
Unlike her previous ultimate villain character in The Glory, Lim Ji Yeon new drama gives her the role of a domestic violence victim, Sang Eun.
Having been living a dreadful life in a shabby apartment, Sang Eun has always desperately dreamed of escaping reality. Amidst her horrible daily life, Sang Eun’s life meets a turning point once she coincidentally encounters Joo Ran.

Kim Sung Oh as Jae Ho
Actress Kim Tae Hee will be married to actor Kim Sung Oh in her new drama. Having been famous of performing various support roles, Kim Sung Oh will once again show a new side as Joo Ran’s husband, Jae Ho.
Jae Ho is a brilliant doctor with great talents and perfectionist traits. In the drama, he begins clashing with his wife, Joo Ran, after a horrid smell begins emanating from their backyard.
Unlike his previous roles full of thick acting in both action and comedy, reports stated that Kim Sung Oh will show a gentle but aloof duality in his new drama with Kim Tae Hee.
Choi Jae Rim as Yoon Beom
Finally, we have Lim Ji Yeon character Sang Eun’s husband, Yoon Beom, whom actor Choi Jae Rim portrays in the new drama.
Yoon Beom is an employee of a pharmaceutical company. He is vile and does not hesitate to threaten and conduct domestic violence against his wife. Granted, he will be the main vicious character who will shake up the entire drama’s storyline. But does the dead body smell in Joo Ran’s backyard really has anything to do with him?
Actor Choi Jae Rim previously stunned the viewers with his role in Green Mothers’ Club. He may not have a long list of drama titles on his resume yet, indeed. But what you may not know is that he is an outstanding musical actor with stunning and charismatic acting performances.
