Money Heist actress Jeon Jong-seo will finally make her acting debut in a historical drama project with TVING’s new historical drama QUEEN WOO.
New Historical Drama QUEEN WOO to Star Actress Jeon Jong-Seo
On April 18, Xports News reported that actress Jeo Jong-seo was confirmed to lead TVING’s original series, Queen Woo.
Actress Jeon Jong-Seo will play the role of Queen Woo Hee, the Empress of Gugoryeo. The story depicts her struggle to secure the throne after the sudden death of her husband, the King of Gugoryeo.
To keep the throne, the queen must marry one of her younger brothers-in-law within 24 hours. Moreover, several different parties are fighting for the throne, including the princes and tribes of the kingdom. However, with ingenuity and drive, she finds a new king by leaving the palace and confronting the forces that seek the throne.
Anticipation is increasing for the transformation of Money Heist actress Jeon Jong-Seo in the upcoming historical drama. The actress will take on the role of Queen Woo-hee, who breaks the barriers of her age and gender to create her own destiny.
The upcoming Queen Woo is gaining a lot of attention. It is the first original historical drama series to be challenged by Jeon Jong-Seo and TVING. Previously, Jeon Jong-Seo and TVING had been working in Bargain.

Actress Jeon Jong Seo debuted as an actress in 2018. Since then, the actress has performed in numerous famous works such as Burning, The Call, Nothing Serious, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area – Part 1, and more.
Jeon Jong-Seo has been part of various genres in both movies and dramas. However, she has not appeared in a historical drama since his acting debut.
Before joining the upcoming Queen Woo Korean drama, the actress will star in the romantic comedy-drama series Wedding Impossible alongside Moon Sang Min, Kim Do Wan and Bae Yoon Kyung. She will also come back for Bargain Season 2.
In addition, actress Jeon Jong-Seo will be the lead actress in the upcoming movie Ballerina, along with Kim Ji Hoon and Park Yoo Rim.
