On April 20, the Korean Business Research Institute published the top 100 Kpop idol group brand reputation rankings for April 2023. So, find below April’s most popular idol groups.
BTS Tops Kpop Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings in April 2023
The Korean Business Research Institute has collected and analyzed 93,375,999 brand big data of Kpop idol groups from March 20 to April 2023. However, compared to 93,302,459 idol group brands in March, it increased by 0.08 percent. As a result, BTS took first place, followed by BLACKPINK in second place, NewsJeans in third place, IVE in fourth place, and SEVENTEEN completed the top five idol groups of the month.
BTS became the No. 1 most popular idol group for this month. The group’s brand value increased by 26.06 percent to 8,645,890. In the link analysis, the group’s popular related terms included “record, enlist, and donate.”
Meanwhile, the group’s famous phrases in the keyword analysis included “Jimin, J-hope, and Jungkook.” Finally, in the positive/negative analysis, the group earned a positive rate of 92.38 percent.
In second place was the girl group BLACKPINK with a brand value of 7,136,906. It increased by 28.21 percent since last month. Meanwhile, NewJeans dropped to third place this month. Their brand value decreased by 3.04 percent to 6,931,633.
Furthermore, Kpop girl group IVE rose to fourth place with a brand value of 5,717,670. This represents an impressive 108.29 percent increase in brand value this month.
Finally, the boy group SEVENTEEN took fifth place in the top five this month. However, the group’s brand value dropped by 27.99 percent to 2,393,596 this month.
