On June 17, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the latest rankings for the most popular Kpop male group members in June 2023. Jimin from BTS has once again claimed the top spot, maintaining his position on the top 100 individual Kpop boy group member brand reputation rankings in June 2023.
BTS Jimin Retains No. 1 Position in June 2023 KPop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted brand big data of 703 Kpop male group members from May 17 to June 17, 2023, totaling 102,839,097 data points. It shows a 6.14 percent increase compared to the 96,893,498 data points collected in May.
In addition, the institute analyzed the dataset of Kpop boy group members for brand participation, media, communication, and community indexes. The institute utilized these factors to determine the brand reputation rankings of Kpop boy group members for June 2023.
Accordingly, BTS’ Jimin, BTS’ Jungkook, BTS’ V, Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon claimed the top five rankings for K-pop boy group members in June 2023.
Top 5 Kpop Male Group Members
Jimin from BTS, who holds the record for being the fastest male K-pop solo artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify and breaking the Guinness World Record, secured the top position in the K-pop boy group member rankings for June 2023. Despite a slight decrease in brand value from 5,434,511 in May to 5,339,376 this month, marking a 1.75 percent decline, he maintained his top position in the Kpop boy group member rankings for the 49th non-consecutive month.
In the link analysis, the singer of Like Crazy was associated with popular terms such as ‘release,’ ‘happy,’ and ‘together.’ In the keyword analysis, Jimin’s most frequently used keywords were ‘10th anniversary,’ ‘letter,’ and ‘ARMY.’ Lastly, Jimin from BTS achieved a positive rate of 95.86 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.”
BTS’ Jungkook climbed to the second place with a brand value of 4,723,745 this month, showcasing a remarkable increase of 97.87 percent from 2,387,331 in May.
Furthermore, V from BTS claimed the third place this month. Although he fell to the third position, his brand value experienced an increase of 12.48 percent, rising from 3,620,208 in May to 4,072,023 this month.
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel of Wanna One fell to the fourth place with a brand value of 3,969,492 this month. It increased by 31.87 percent compared to his brand value of 3,010,114 in May.
Furthermore, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon soared to the fifth place and completed the top five K-pop male group members this month. He reached the fifth place with a brand value of 3,049,272, marking an impressive increase of 51.03 percent.
