The Korean Business Research Institute conducted consumer behavior analysis on star brands, measuring engagement, media, communication, and community indexes from August 30 to September 30, 2023. The total star brand big data recorded was 226,277,767, representing an 8.51% decrease from August’s 247,329,742.

The analysis results revealed that Son Heung Min, Lim Young Woong, BTS, Go Yoon Jung, and NewJeans emerged as the top five most popular Korean stars in September 2023.

1. Son Heung Min

According to the star brand reputation big data analysis conducted in September 2023, Son Heung Min emerged as the top-ranked star brand. Son Heung Min, the captain of Tottenham Hotspur club, showcased an outstanding performance by scoring a hat-trick and multiple goals. His brand reputation index achieved 10,204,387, representing an 8.06% increase compared to August’s brand reputation index of 9,443,448.

2. Lim Young Woong

Lim Youn Woong reached the second spot in popularity. His positive impact, supported by loyal fans, contributed to this achievement. In the analysis, the singer’s brand reputation index showed a significant increase of 28.74%. It soared to 8,707,834, surpassing his previous August index of 6,764,010.
