Finally, one of the famous South Korean singers, Lee Ji Eun or known as IU, has made a comeback with her new 5th full-length album “LILAC” on March 25 at 6 p.m KST. 1. IU celebrates her twenties in her 5th album
IU’s fifth album, “LILAC,” is a tribute to those who have been there for IU in her twenties. Born on May 16, 1993, she will be 28 years old, or 29 years old in Korean age.
If you pay close attention to Lilac MV, a train schedule board that displays the date, destination, and platform are IU single albums, EP, and full-albums released since she was turning 20 years old. Meanwhile, the ticket and train portray she is ready for a new journey from her 20’s to her 30’s with a smile.
2. IU wrote the song lyrics in her 5th album
IU wrote all the song lyrics on her 5th album. There are ten catchy songs with various genres which is including the title track Lilac. Also, a song featuring Dean, titled Troll, is written together with him. While in the song Ah Puh, IU was assisted by AKMU’s Chanhyuk both in lyrics and music composition.
