RIIZE Seunghan Officially Leaves the Group and Is Not Coming Back
Fans of RIIZE is one of the most heartbreaking moments in the entire journey of the group as RIIZE Seunghan now officially leaves the group and is not coming back.
On October 13, Wizard Production, the SM Entertainment team managing RIIZE, shared the news about Seunghan’s departure.
According to them, Seunghan personally decided to leave, keeping both his fellow members and fans in mind. The statement mentioned that it was apparently Seunghan who repeatedly demanded to leave RIIZE for the sake of the remaining members and fans.
This announcement is particularly confusing because two days before, Wizard Production had clearly stated that Seunghan would return as an active member of RIIZE. And yet, the company changed its mind, resulting in Seunghan officially leaving RIIZE with no possibility of coming back.

Irreparable Controversy: What REALLY Happened?
Earlier on October 11, Wizard Production made a sudden announcement that Seunghan was coming back with the rest of RIIZE members. It would have marked his comeback after nearly a year of hiatus following the motel kissing, inappropriate manner, and misogynistic scandal controversy revolving around former RIIZE Seunghan.
Yet this decision has angered some fans and communities. Fans even reportedly sent funeral wreaths, protesting Seunghan’s return. Moreover, rumors even circulated in social media that the parent label SM Entertainment has also taken part in revoking the decision for Seunghan’s comeback.

It Was Seunghan’s Decision
Eventually, Seunghan posted a handwritten letter explaining his decision to leave RIIZE.
“Hello, this is Seunghan.
I know many people have been concerned about my return, and I fully understand how serious the situation is.
I’ve thought deeply about whether I’ve been too focused on myself, whether I’m causing harm to the members and the company, and if it’s right for me to stay in RIIZE, a group meant to be loved. But all I felt was worry and regret.
After reflecting, I believe that stepping away from the group is the best decision for everyone.
I don’t want to cause more pain or confusion for the fans, nor do I want to be a burden to the members or the company any longer.
I’m grateful to the company and the members for giving me another chance, and I feel both sorry and thankful to everyone who has supported me despite my flaws.
What hurts me the most is the thought that my actions might damage the bond between RIIZE and BRIIZE, who have grown together with mutual support. It also saddens me to see fans, who should only have to enjoy RIIZE, fighting because of me.
Moving forward, I will wholeheartedly cheer for RIIZE, a group I truly love, and I sincerely hope they receive even more love in the future.”
