The Reign of Lee Chae Min: Actor Commands October’s Brand Reputation Rankings for the Second Straight Month!

October 2025 Korean Actor Brand Reputation Rankings: Lee Chae Min #1 Again

The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 186.7 million pieces of big data from 100 actors from September 21 to October 21, 2025. This month saw a 28.87% increase in data from the previous month.

This analysis has been expanded to include OTT and web-based media actors, highlighting the growth of the streaming market. An actor’s brand reputation is calculated using four key metrics: Participation Index, Media Index, Communication Index, and Community Index.

TOP 5

1. Lee Chae Min 

The breakout star Lee Chae-min, known for his charm in “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” secured the top spot for the second consecutive month. This month, he recorded a Brand Reputation Index of 7,295,191.

Mr. Koo Chang-hwan (director of the Korean Business Research Institute) highlighted that overall public engagement with the actor grew significantly, showing a 28.87% increase in data.

He explained that overall interest in the actor grew for several specific reasons. The Participation Index increased by 21.48%. This means that more people were actively searching for him online. At the same time, the Media Index shows a 24.02% rise. This means that news outlets were writing more stories about him. 

The most significant change, however, was in the Communication Index, which soared by 47.30%. This proves that the main reason for the growth was people talking to each other or sharing more posts about the actor, much more frequently.

Adding to his top position on the Korean actor list, the 25-year-old also dominated the Drama Actor rankings for a second month.

2. Jo Woo Jin 

Actor Jo Woo-jin took the number two spot this month. For his amazing work in the movie “BOSS” and the series “Mantis,” the actor achieved a Brand Reputation Index of 5,315,321. This proves his strength as a seasoned actor in both blockbuster films and OTT projects.

3. Lee Byung Hun

One of Korea’s most respected actors, Lee Byung-hun, landed in the third place this month. After “The Match,” he impressed audiences once again with his role in “No Other Choice.” This earned him a Brand Reputation Index of 4,804,708. He gets strong praise from critics and is recognized globally, making him one of Korea’s most bankable names.

4. Lee Young Ae

Actress Lee Young-ae is a legend in her own right. She secured fourth place this month with a Brand Reputation Index of4,650,460. Her stunning performance in her recent comeback drama, “Walking on Thin Ice,” gained a lot of attention from K-drama fans worldwide. This is also reflected in her Participation Index of 1,149,813, proving that she still has a strong influence as a Korean actress.

5. Kim Go Eun

Kim Go-eun rounded out this month’s top 5 Korean actor rankings. Her comeback drama, “You and Everything Else,” moved audiences with its emotional depth. For her impressive performance, she earned a Brand Reputation Index of 4,336,239. Her Community Index of 1,281,571 highlights how much her performance resonated with viewers. This also proves that the right role and actor can make a great drama.
