BTS Leads the Top 50 Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings in December 2025
The Korea Brand Reputation Institute analyzed Kpop boy group brands to determine their popularity rankings for December 2025. They examined over 60 million data points collected between November 13 and December 13, 2025. The number increased by 7.75% from the previous month, showing more fan activity.
They used media coverage, consumer interest, online engagement, and community perception factors to determine each group’s brand reputation index. These factors help them gauge how often groups are discussed, appear in the media, and are searched for online, ultimately revealing which groups are currently the most popular and influential.
TOP 5 Kpop Boy Groups
1. BTS
BTS holds their strong position at the top. Their brand reputation index hit 6,827,202 this month. This number is slightly lower than in November, but their strong connection with fans remains clear.
Their fans often talked about “waiting” for new music and “donating” in their name. News about solo work and anticipation for their return as a full group kept them highly visible.
In their link analysis, the result showed the terms “waiting,” “donating,” and “recording.” These terms show fans’ anticipation for the group’s future activities and their social contributions. Their keyword analysis found the terms “full group,” “apart and together,” and “ARMY” consistently trend, proving their collective strength and unbreakable bond with fans.
2. Stray Kids
Stray Kids showed a big jump this month! Their brand reputation index reached 5,477,864, which is an impressive 33.50% increase from November. They have been very active globally, finishing a successful world tour, “dominATE,” and releasing exciting new music, “DO IT.”
Their powerful performances keep fans around the world highly engaged. According to Billboard Boxscore records, Stray Kids ranked #10 on the Billboard Top Tours Year-End 2025 list, which ranks the biggest artist concert revenues worldwide for the period October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. The entire “dominATE” concert collected USD 185.7 million from 31 shows that brought Stray Kids together with 1.3 million fans. Recently, they won 8 awards at the 2025 AAA, including the Artist of the Year award (Daesang).
3. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN’s popularity continues to grow, putting them in third place. Their brand reputation index was 4,846,859, an impressive 18.45% increase from last month. Their latest album has done very well on the charts, and their recent concerts showed just how popular they are globally. Carats are certainly making their presence known!
SEVENTEEN became the second Kpop group to record the strongest tour of 2025, after Stray Kids. The group attracted 964,000 concertgoers and earned $142.4 million from their “New_” world tour. The tour will continue with 29 shows in 14 cities through 2026.
4. EXO
EXO proved their lasting influence, moving up to fourth place. Their brand reputation index was 2,999,184, which is a huge 61.92% increase from November. Individual members have been busy with acting and solo music, which has created a lot of talk. Their charm and different talents still really connect with their fans.
On December 9, SM Entertainment announced that EXO will make a comeback with six members and a new album in 2026. This news excites fans worldwide. They have also released an intriguing 3-minute, 32-second cinematic trailer titled “REVERXE,” making fans can’t wait for their comeback.
5. TWS
Completing the top five is the rookie group TWS. Their brand reputation index for December was 1,964,600. Their 2024 debut mini-album quickly drew widespread positive attention. In the same year, they received Rookie of the Year and Best Artist awards at the 2024 AAA.
