The “Pirates 2” star Kang Ha Neul and “Alchemy of Souls” star Jung So Min to lead the upcoming movie “30 Days.”
Kang Ha Neul and Jung So Min to Team Up in New Korean Movie “30 Days”
On August 24, Korean media outlets reported that Kang Ha Neul and Jung So Min will lead a new romantic comedy movie, “30 Days.” Director Nam Dae Joong, who is famous for Korean films such as “The Last Ride” (2016) and “Homme Fatale” (2019), will be directing the upcoming movie.
“30 Days” is a romantic comedy movie about a couple who were once full of love. But now, after a big fight, they are on the verge of divorce. Kang Ha Neul will play the character of the husband, Jung Yeol. He is an infamous lawyer, while Jung So Min will play take the role of the wife, a famous film producer.
Moreover, the upcoming movie will be the second time for Jung So Min and director Nam Dae Joong to work together after “Homme Fatale.”
More information regarding casting details and the “30 Days’” premiere date have not yet been revealed.
Second Project of Kang HaNeul and Jung So Min Together
This year is a busy year for actor Kang Ha Neul. At the beginning of 2022, Kang Ha Neul’s movie “The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure” was released. The film became the first movie in 2022 that hit one million moviegoers at the Korean box office within ten days.
After “The Pirates 2,” Kang Ha Neul will appear as a cameo in a new Korean movie “Dream” starring Park Seo Joon and Lee Ji Eun (IU). Moreover, he will lead in a mystery thriller “Streaming.” Besides movies, he will also appear as the main lead in an upcoming Korean drama, “Curtain Call.”
Meanwhile, Jung So Min is currently starring in tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls.” The upcoming movie “30 Days” will be her second upcoming movie after “Project Wolf Hunting,” together with the star-studded cast. The film will be available at TIFF 2022 in the Midnight Madness section.
Expectations are high for Kang Ha Neul and Jung So Min’s chemistry in the upcoming new romantic comedy movie after their first movie “Twenty” (2015).
