The highly-anticipated webtoon adaptation movie, “Concrete Utopia” starring Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young has yet released. However, the production company has started preparing for its sequel, “The Wilderness”, previously known as “Concrete Utopia 2”.
On January 26, Korean media reported that U-KISS Lee Jun Young and actress Roh Jeong Ui will be joining their sunbae, Ma Dong Seok, for the sequel of “Concrete Utopia”, “The Wilderness”. According to the reports, the three actors will have important roles that determine the whole story plot of “The Wilderness”.
What is “The Wilderness” About?
Furthermore, media reports also mentioned that “The Wilderness” will still take on the same settings to its prequel, “Concrete Utopia”. As an adaptation from the second part of “Pleasant Neighbor” webtoon by Kim Soong Nyung, “Concrete Utopia” tells a thriller story of a city that has become a ruin due to a massive earthquake. “Concrete Utopia” has just finished filming in August 2021 with its main cast, Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young.
Now, as its sequel, “The Wilderness” will be a dystopian action movie that portrays long after “Concrete Utopia” time. Also, “The Wilderness” story part will revolve around the three main characters played by Ma Dong Seok, Lee Jun Young, and Roh Jong Eui.
