New Netflix Superhero Series “Cashero”
“Cashero” is a superhero series based on the webtoon of the same name. The story follows ordinary superheroes who protect ordinary people in daily life. Kang Sang Woong is an ordinary government employee who is the newest heir to the superpowers. His unique ability is that he gains as much power as he has cash in his hands. As a result, he has to empty his wallet to save the world.
Director Lee Chang Min, who directed “Welcome to Waikiki,” will direct the upcoming superhero series. Meanwhile, writers Lee Je In and Cheon Chan Ho, who previously wrote “Sisyphus: The Myth,” wrote the “Cashero” script.

Lee Junho as Kang Sang Woong
Lee Junho will play the role of Kang Sang Woong. His superpowers are tied to his wealth. He becomes stronger according to the amount of money he has. Kang Sang Woong inherits supernatural abilities that change his life. He is an ordinary community center official who dreams of buying his own house but struggles as he loses money after losing his abilities.
Kim Byung Chul as Byun Ho In
Kim Byung Chul will portray the role of Byun Ho In. He is a lawyer whose supernatural abilities activate when he drinks alcohol. He is a figure who opposes a mysterious organization that hunts people who have superpowers. Byun Ho In suggests Kang Sang Woong to work together to save the world after realizing he also has superpowers.
Kim Hyang Gi as Bang Eun Mi
Kim Hyang Gi will portray Bang Eun Mi. Her supernatural powers activate based on the amount of calories she consumes. Her character is fearless and a bit bold, making her a reliable partner for Kang Sang Woong and Byun Ho In.
Kim Hye Jun as Kim Min Sook
Kim Hye Jun will portray Kim Min Sook, Kang Sang Woong’s analytical girlfriend. She values efficiency above everything else and has an exceptional talent for calculations. Min Sook invents a calculator to help Kang Sang Woong with his superpower. Even though she thinks Kang Sang Woong’s method as Cashero is not the most efficient way, she is his biggest supporter.
