After confirming her appearance in the upcoming Korean movie “Believer 2,” actress Han Hyo Joo may join actor Ju Ji Hoon in a new sci-fi drama, “Dominant Species.”
Will Han Hyo Joo and Ju Ji Hoon Work Together in a New Sci-Fi Korean Drama ‘Dominant Species’ for The First Time?
On August 11, Korean media reported that Han Hyo Joo recently received an offer to appear in “Dominant Species” (literal title). In response to the report, a representative from Han Hyo Joo’s agency, BH Entertainment, stated,
“Han Hyo Joo has received an offer to star in the new drama “Dominant Species,” and she is currently considering the offer.”

“The Dominant Species” is a new work by Lee Soo Yeon, the writer of ‘Grid’ and “Forest of Secrets (Strangers 2)’. The story portrays a world where superior genes and viruses are common. In addition, people will eat their food in the form of a pill to create the most dominant species of humans.
Possible to Team Up with Actor Ju Ji Hoon
If Han Hyo Joo accepts the offer, it would be her next drama project after “Moving” in 2022. Further, she might also team up with “Kingdom” actor Ju Ji Hoon. As reported in June, Ju Ji Hoon has received an offer for the same drama. Yet, there is no further information regarding his final decision for the forthcoming drama.
And if both actors accepted the offer, it would be their first time working together on a project. Their outstanding skills in acting will be a fantastic collaboration that we should anticipate.
The upcoming sci-fi Korean drama “Dominant Species” is currently in discussion to be aired on a global OTT platform. In addition, it is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
