BTS Jimin Cried during Map of the Soul ON:E- KpopPost

The current situation makes it hard for BTS to meet his fans, ARMYs. The only way to get in touch with ARMY is by holding a BTS online concert, like what BTS did on October 10 and 11 with BTS Map of the Soul ON:E concert. While many moments of joy during the concert, Jimin cried, broke into tears when he delivered his ending speech on day 1.

As soon as Jimin began to speak, he couldn’t hold back his tears on his eyes. He said, “Since the encore, I couldn’t really focus…” He rubbed his forehead and looked away, trying to fight how emotional he became.

Noticing his best friend was trying to deliver the speech and holding back the tears, V soothed Jimin, “Don’t cry, don’t cry.” However, RM then gave the green light for Jimin to cry it out and let out the emotion he felt, “You should cry.”

Still, Jimin didn’t give in yet. He tried to be strong and opened up about how difficult the pandemic for BTS, especially in preparing the Map of the Soul ON:E concert. “Preparing for this show… Before we started preparing for this show, I kind of felt like things are going really unfair. Because of COVID-19…”

Couldn’t hold back anymore

When Jimin talked about how the Bangtan Boys felt to share precious moments with ARMY, Jimin couldn’t hold back the emotion. He wiped his tears, “I mean, more than anything, I wanted to perform on stage with the members and share the happiness with you guys…”

Hearing the cheers from ARMYs, Jimin cried and was no longer able to continue speaking. Quickly, RM came and put his hand over Jimin’s shoulder to comfort him.

Jimin was Frustrated

After trying to gather himself as much as he could, Jimin revealed that he was frustrated with the fact he couldn’t connect with ARMY. “Like that’s all I’ve wanted to do… so I couldn’t really understand why this was happening to me and stuff…”

Looking at how BTS members made the best of the current situation, and most of all how ARMY fully support BTS in the Map of the Soul ON:E concert, were all that Jimin needed to pull on his heartstrings. “But during the encore, I watched the members having a blast on stage. And that brought me to tears,” Jimin said as he bent over and cried.

ARMYs Were Emotional during Jimin’s Speech

The emotional atmosphere brought by Jimin didn’t only leave an unforgettable moment for the members during BTS online concert, but also made ARMY shed tears. Although ARMY can’t be by his side, they have made it clear they are always with him in spirit.

BTS Jimin Didn’t Cry on Day 2 after BTS Members Made Fun of Him

On the day 2 of Map of the Soul ON:E concert, Jimin made sure that he wouldn’t cry again. he had a reason for it, “Ok I will not cry. I think crying once is enough guys. The members made fun of me so much yesterday after I cried so I won’t be doing that again. I’m so happy that the concert ended well.”
