In celebrating BTS’s 10th Anniversary Festa 2023, various releases and events are ready to enjoy throughout its timeline schedule. However, BTS has prepared more exciting gifts for ARMY to make the 2023 Festa even more unforgettable.
BTS YOUTH Drama Gets a Possible Release Date!
The first gift BTS and their team prepared for global fans is a crucial update on BTS Universe drama, YOUTH.
Shortly after its premiere at the 2023 Korea Expo in Paris, the first official trailer of the BTS Universe’s YOUTHdrama was finally released to the public. Identical to its leaked premiere version, the BTS YOUTH drama trailer revealed the 7 BTS characters and glimpses of their fictional stories.
As previously discussed, BTS Universe YOUTH drama is NOT real. The storyline depicts the plot BTS had presented in HYYH or Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa (화양연화), an era in BTS album that basically means “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life”.
HYYH is a trilogy portraying a coming-of-age story, a transition period from teenage to adulthood. The story contains the issues most people must face in this transition, including childhood trauma, relationships with parents, and many other relatable issues. Therefore, casting the original BTS members would be impossible. That’s because all seven of them have now matured into charismatic adults.
Moreover, since the story involves nothing about BTS members’ lives, the production team changed the characters’ names to avoid confusion.
Most importantly, YOUTH will be one of history’s luxurious productions, with over 35.4 million USD budget for the 1st season. According to multiple sources, BTS Universe’s YOUTH drama release date will be around November this year.
