The COVID19 pandemic has forced us to stay at home. Even at the end of the year like this, it is hard for us to travel. No worries, we can still travel though we stay at home. Let’s travel at home to South Korea with your Kpop idols, like MONSTA X, ATEEZ, TXT, Yubin, ONEUS, April, and VICTION.
Travel to South Korea with Kpop Idols
For Kpop fans, visiting places in South Korea is like a dream. With the Travel at Home reality series from SBS MTC and SBSF!L, that dream seems to come true. Although we travel virtually, it’s fun to enjoy the beauty of South Korea with some of the biggest Kpop groups.
Travel with MONSTA X
MONSTA X, one of the guests, let Monbebes (MONSTA X fans) enjoy their past trips. They also star in an eating show from their trip which you should not miss. In the Travel at Home with MONSTA X, they also share their MONSTA X playlist, which will help them remember each moment of their trip.
Travel with Yubin
In Travel at Home featuring Yubin, she lets Kpop fans enjoy the alluring Gwangju, her hometown. Gwangju is the central city of Jeollanam-do, located in the southwest part of Korea. If you love culture-traveling and culinary, Gwangju is the perfect place.
Travel with APRIL Jinsol and Yena
Meanwhile, APRIL’s Jinsol and Yena introduce Korean attractions in Kpop music videos. They bring us to EXO’s Ko Ko Bop and TWICE’s OOH AHH, which is now an abandoned amusement park located in Jungnag-gu, Seoul. Then they bring us to Iryeong Station in Gyeonggi-do, Yangju City (one of the scene in BTS’ Spring Day music video). If you’re an ARMY, Jinsol and Yena also suggest you to visit the bus station. TRAVEL with ONEUS
ONEUS share their memories of past travels as well as places they want to visit. In the episode, they also receive a #Together_at_hand challenge. The challenge requires ONEUS members to communicate through hand gestures that express specific message. At the end of the challenge, they even create a choreography that has an important message. Travel with VICTON
Another Kpop group featured in Travel at Home is VICTON, who give various ideas of games we can enjoy at home. While enjoying the game, they also recall their past trips and talk about domestic destinations they have never been to.
Travel with ATEEZ
Besides those idols, ATEEZ also stars in Travel at Home by showcasing their cooking skills in recreating Korean food, like jjangguri or the spicy chicken noodle. They also improvise the recipe, and give a slight of “ATEEZ touch” to the food.
Travel with TXT
TXT shares their dream destination and the foods they want to eat in various parts of South Korea. Additionally, they also plan their own travel schedules to visit some places in South Korea.
Travel with EVERGLOW
If you think all Kpop idols have been to the most popular tourism destination in Korea, you are wrong. Everglow Yiren wants to visit Jeju Island, since she hasn’t been there. Their mission is to take a picture with all Everglow members imitate the Stone Hareubang. They also make a list of places in South Korea they want to visit.
