VINCENZO, Song Joong Ki Comeback in New Korean Drama Series

One of the popular Korean networks with its drama series, tvN, has dropped their new weekend drama video teasers and poster entitled VINCENZO. This drama series will mark as a drama comeback of Song Joong Ki after two years of hiatus since Arthdal Chronicles, in 2019. VINCENZO, the new Korean drama of Song Joong Ki, will be air on this February 20 at 9 PM KST.

The drama has got much attention with its jaw-dropping production staff and cast lineup since it was announced. Director Kim Hee-Won leads the production. Previously, she directed Money Flower and The Crowned Clown. The script is written by Park Jae Bum, known as the Good Manager and The Fiery Priest screenwriter.

In this upcoming tvN drama, there are three leading actors. They are Song Joong Ki, Jeon Yeo Bin, and Ok Taec Yeon. Moreover, some veteran actors joined them, Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Yeo Jin, Yoon Byung Hee, and Kwak Dong Yeon.

Jeon Yeo Bin will play Lawyer Hong Cha Young, who will work together with Vincenzo. Meanwhile, Ok Taec Yeon will play Jang Jun Woo, an intelligent and hardworking first-year law intern at the firm. The villain, Choi Myung Hee, will be played by Kim Yeo Jin.

In this new Korean drama series, Song Joong Ki will play a cold-blooded mafia lawyer, Vicenzo Casano. The drama tells about an Italian mafia lawyer who returns to Korea after being betrayed by his own organization. He wipes out the evils with evil’s way. He punishes those who cannot be punished by law and rewrite it in the name of justice.

In the first released teaser, Vincenzo warns his enemy with a low voice by saying, “I didn’t come to negotiate, but to warn you.” Shortly, intense images such as a gun, blood, a scale, and broken glasses are shown. Then, he finishes his threat by saying, “I’m the one who judges,” flawlessly showing his dark energy.

The second teaser begins with a warning from Vincenzo with his cold voice, “Kill evil with evil.” Then, Hong Yoo Chan (Yoo Jae Myung) says, “I want a real monster to come and wipe out all of these bastards.”

Then, a scene of Lawyer Hong Cha Young with Vincenzo as she gives him a condition before they are working together, “Let’s not harm others’ lives.”

Choi Myung Hee provokes Vincenzo by saying, “don’t get too confident.” He then replies, “I’m not here to negotiate. I’m here to warn you. I’ll never forgive you for such trashy doings.”
