Here Are the Winners of the 2023 MBC Drama Awards
The 2023 MBC Drama Awards ceremony, presented by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), was held on December 30 at the MBC Media Center Public Hall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Kim Sung Joo hosted the award ceremony for the fourth year in a row, along with Park Gyu Young, who was hosting for the first time since her debut.
The historical drama “My Dearest” swept nine awards at the ceremony, including the highly prestigious Drama of the Year.
Moreover, its lead actor, Namgoong Min, took home this year’s Daesang (Grand Prize) for his outstanding performance in the drama. This marks Namgoong Min’s second time winning the Daesang at the MBC Drama Awards, following his win in 2021 for “The Veil.” The actor has now collected three Daesangs after his success at the 2020 SBS Drama Awards for his performance in “Stove League.”
The highly anticipated MBC’s Best Couple award went to Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin for their excellent and heart-fluttering performance in “My Dearest.” Last month, Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin were also awarded Best Actress and Actor at The 2023 Grimae Awards for their performances in “My Dearest.”
